The Community Ambassador
Program for Seniors
CAPS
- The Community Ambassador Program for Seniors (CAPS) is a City of Fremont Human Services project funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. CAPS, through its volunteer community ambassadors, will build capacity to serve seniors in their own communities, in their own language, within their own cultural norms, and will do so where seniors live, worship, socialize, and learn. CAPS partners include the Centerville Presbyterian Church, Muslim Support Network, India Community Center, Taiwanese Community Help Association, Sikhs Engaged in Volunteer Activities, and Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
